Sales start now
Between returns, gift vouchers and bargain hunting, we’ll be out and about these weeks.
Starting this Wednesday, the January sales begin, and residents of Fuerteventura will rush in droves to keep the consumer fever alive that was sparked by Black Friday, followed by Cyber Monday and the entire holiday season.
The discounts represent the fourth wave in just two months, giving shoppers a chance to finish pending purchases, refresh their wardrobes, or upgrade their phones without hurting their wallets too much.
In today’s digital age, mobile platforms let buyers get ahead of the crowd and secure highly‑demanded items before they sell out. This approach especially benefits those who prefer to shop from home, avoiding queues and crowds, as well as the more forward‑thinking customers who already have a list of garments or gadgets marked weeks in advance.
For shoppers who like to see and try products in person, January 7, 2026 will be the key date. On that day, most retailers across Spain will activate the sales in their physical stores. From then on, shop windows and racks will be filled with signs offering discounts that typically start at 20 %–40 % off in the first phase, with the possibility of deeper cuts as the weeks go by.
