Secretary of Los Toscones Says Referee Falsified the Report

Meanwhile, Fuenlabrada claims the report is correct and there was a stomp on the referee

The events of last Saturday’s match between CB Los Toscones and Fuenlabrada at the José Perdomo Umpiérrez Pavilion in Corralejo continue to generate discussion days later. The statements from the secretary of the northern Fuerteventura team, denying what the referee had recorded in the report—especially that there was a kick to the referee on the floor after a push—opened a new chapter in what happened on the court.

Juan Guerra asserts that there was no kick and, if the incident did occur, it is being dismissed.

“There is no time for blows and kicks, and they have committed a crime, since the report was passed on to the media and other teams,” he added, “the report is also manipulated.”

On the other hand, according to the newspaper La Provincia, which says it has contacted the Madrid‑based team, Fuenlabrada guarantees the authenticity of the report and says the second aggression did occur. This new chapter of the saga, far from removing the spotlight from the Los Toscones basketball club, places it back at the center of controversy.
