The heatwave will reach Fuerteventura this weekend

Temperatures around 40 degrees in many parts of the majorera island

The heat will arrive in the form of a heat wave to the majorera island during the weekend with temperatures that could exceed 40 degrees this Sunday, the 10th, in some points in the center and south of the island.

Very light winds rotating over the archipelago, with great influence from the Saharan ridge, will turn the island into an oven, especially on Sunday, but both Saturday and Monday temperatures will be well above average for these dates.

For this Wednesday, the trade wind will blow in the afternoon and we will still have mild temperatures, which will start rising from this Thursday. The peak will be on Sunday and from Tuesday the trade wind will return to moderate the temperatures.

Regarding the sea state, the force will decrease with waves of 1 meter in the north and west of the island.
