Two million euros for Pájara's paving plan
The southern council “will improve paving in Costa Calma, Morro Jable, Solana Matorral, La Lajita, Pájara and Vinamar,” it says.
The Pájara City Council approved today, during the ordinary session of its Local Government Board, a major paving plan worth €1,969,492. The works will be carried out in the localities of Costa Calma, Morro Jable, Solana Matorral, La Lajita, Pájara and Vinamar.
The project has been driven by the Technical Office, which has spent the last few months preparing it to benefit the municipality’s residents.
The first deputy mayor, councilor for Urban Planning and head of the Technical Office, Alexis Alonso, explained that the actions will focus mainly on Costa Calma, Morro Jable, Pájara and La Lajita.
“It is not a one‑off action, but planning and constant discipline to carry out an effective job,” he emphasized.
Mayor Alejandro Jorge considers the paving plan crucial.
“We are talking about 36 streets in the municipality, 20 of them in Costa Calma, 10 in Morro Jable and the remaining in the Sup‑5 of Vinamar and Solana Matorral. A very necessary plan that demonstrates our commitment to the progressive improvement of public spaces in the municipality,” he noted.
With initiatives like this, the council continues to reinforce its responsibility to deliver quality work that enhances the condition of the municipality’s roads.
