Two modules at Puerto del Rosario desalination plant repaired
CAAF technicians solve the failure that generated great concern in the administration
The breakdown of the two desalination modules at the Puerto del Rosario desalination plant has been fixed by CAAF operators before a drop in water levels and supply shortages could occur.
During yesterday, concern grew over the seriousness of the failures, which under other circumstances would have caused more headaches for workers and users, but
“Those times are over; now there are new work systems, new equipment and, above all, access to solutions and spare parts.”
The prompt repair did not cause hydraulic stress, and the facilities are now operating normally.
