Two more Gazati children die of hunger, total deaths rise to 459

According to the United Nations, 1.6 million Gazans are suffering from famine, while Israel does not permit humanitarian aid trucks to enter.

Two additional children in Gaza have died from conditions related to malnutrition and famine, raising the total number of deaths from this cause to 459, including 154 minors, since October 2023.

Since 22 August, when a United Nations‑backed international body officially declared the existence of famine in Gaza city and surrounding areas, 181 deaths have been recorded, including 39 children.

The report released by that committee indicated that a total of 1.6 million Gazans are experiencing hunger. Of these, more than 640,000 (about one‑third) are in a critical state, suffering extreme food deprivation, while the remainder of the population is in a “food crisis” situation.
