Wind and Cold Persist All Week

Occasional drizzle not ruled out in Fuerteventura

Meteorological models indicate a week dominated by wind on the island of Fuerteventura. A northeasterly wind will bring cloud cover, especially in the mornings, and will keep temperatures from rising.

  • Temperatures: Lows around 11 °C in interior towns; highs will not exceed 20 °C in the sunniest areas.
  • Precipitation: Chance of light drizzle.

The trade wind will subside during the weekend, leading to sunnier days and a temperature rebound on Saturday and Sunday. Although it is still early, forecasts suggest that the week of Monday the 16th will become very windy again, with cooler temperatures and the possibility of a new Atlantic low‑pressure system.

Sea conditions: Caution is advised across all of Fuerteventura, with a north‑west combined sea and waves reaching up to 3 meters in many parts of the island.
