Wind and Waves to Kick Off the Week

The alisio force will continue to rise at the beginning of the week but will decrease from Wednesday

September begins breezy on the island of Fuerteventura, with the alisio (trade wind) arriving with great intensity. The wind will also bring strong seas, at least on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

The situation will improve by Wednesday, with lighter breezes and sunny days, lasting at least until the weekend.

Caution is strongly advised in areas exposed to the alisio, such as the north and northwest of the island, as well as the southeast. In the north and west, wave heights can reach 2.5 meters.
