Young Fuerteventura creators invited to January market in Puerto del Rosario
Maxo Arte Market Navidad returns to Puerto del Rosario from 2 to 5 January 2027. Young Fuerteventura artists can display and sell their work there.
Young artists and creators in Fuerteventura are invited to take part in Maxo Arte Market Navidad. It will run from 2 to 5 January 2027 in Puerto del Rosario. The venue is the square at the Centro Insular de Juventud.
The Cabildo’s Education and Youth Department is preparing the Christmas market for the third year in a row. It will give young island creators a space to display their work and sell it to the public.
Two ways for creators to take part
As in previous years, participants can choose how to sell their work. They can run their own stall and deal directly with customers. Or they can leave their products with market staff, who will handle sales for them.
The second option aims to help more young people take part without having to be at their stall themselves.
The department, led by Adargoma Hernández, is encouraging Fuerteventura’s young creators to join the event. It aims to help emerging island talent become better known, encourage creativity and introduce artists’ projects to the public.
Residents and visitors will have a chance to see and buy work by young local creators during the festive period. The announcement gives no daily opening hours, deadline for signing up or details of how creators should apply.
