Delcy Rodríguez urges cooperation with the United States

All signs point to the agreed solution being the formula for Venezuela’s governance

The new top Venezuelan leader, Chavista Delcy Rodríguez, posted early this morning on her Instagram account a conciliatory message to the Trump administration. She invited the United States government to work together on a cooperation agenda aimed at shared development, within the framework of international law, and to strengthen a lasting community coexistence.

“We seek a partnership based on sovereign equality and non‑interference,” Rodríguez said.

In contrast, former President Trump adopted a forceful tone, demanding the new leader “access to everything” in the South American country and asserting that “we are in charge.”

With nearly a hundred possible victims from the attack in Caracas on Saturday morning—including 32 Cubans who were part of the president’s inner security circle—the vice‑president emphasized that it is priority to move toward a “balanced and respectful” relationship with the United States and regional nations, grounded in sovereign equality and non‑interference.
