The Island Tourism Board launches promotional actions in Katowice and Warsaw to boost Polish tourism to the island

The Cabildo of Fuerteventura, through the Department of Tourism and the Island Tourism Board, has organized a week‑long promotional agenda in Poland aimed at consolidating the island’s position in one of Europe’s fastest‑growing tourism markets.

Promotional Activities in Katowice and Warsaw

  • Katowice: The first event gathered 60 travel agents for an exclusive day organized by the Island Tourism Board in cooperation with the Polish tour operator ITAKA.
  • Warsaw: A follow‑up session reinforced Fuerteventura’s presence in the Polish market and deepened collaboration with one of the country’s leading tour operators.

During the Katowice meeting, Marlene Figueroa, Tourism Counselor and Vice‑President of the Board, welcomed participants and highlighted:

“The direct air connectivity between Katowice and Fuerteventura, operated by airlines such as Wizz Air, Buzz and Enter Air, together with our cultural, heritage and gastronomic offerings, makes the island a truly differentiated destination.”
