High-Pressure Weather and Rising Temperatures to Kick Off May

The wind will shift to the northeast starting Thursday, and a sunny weekend is expected. Light northeast breezes will begin on the island of Fuerteventura, gradually altering the usual climatological pattern on the neighboring island of La Palma.

Temperatures will rise toward the weekend, and the days will be clear, especially from midday throughout the week.

From Friday onward, temperatures are expected to climb further, potentially reaching 25 °C at many locations across the island during the weekend.

Regarding sea conditions, caution is advised from Friday onward, as waves may exceed two metres along the north and west coasts of the island.
