Maxo Art Market at the Island Youth Center

“This market offers young creators a space to express themselves and share their work, while also providing a way to support young artists.”

The Cabildo of Fuerteventura, through the Youth Department, announces that the Maxo Arte Market Christmas is open at the Island Youth Center. Its purpose is to promote and give visibility to the island’s emerging talent.

• Opening hours: 10:00 – 13:00 and 18:00 – 20:00, including Monday, 5 January (the eve of the Three Kings).
• Special draw: Purchases over €10 enter a raffle for a trip for two to Seville.

This is the third edition of an initiative promoted by the Department of Education and Youth. The market evolved from the Maxo Arte Joven competition and is considered essential for showcasing the work of diverse young authors.

According to Youth Counselor Adargoma Hernández, the market “not only boosts creativity, but also encourages entrepreneurship and youth participation.”
