Montebalito Plans a 14-Room Boutique Hotel in El Cotillo
It Will Feature a Restaurant, Pool, Solarium and Rooftop, and Be Located in the Playa del Muelle Chico Area
Montebalito has announced plans to develop a boutique hotel with fourteen rooms in the town of El Cotillo on the island of Fuerteventura, as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in the Canary Islands.
In a press release, the developer explained that the future establishment will include a restaurant, swimming pool, solarium and rooftop terrace, and will be situated in the Playa del Muelle Chico area, one of the most iconic spots in the municipality.
The hotel concept will focus on a detail‑oriented boutique experience, where architecture, location and guest experience harmonize with the natural surroundings and the unique character of El Cotillo.
The company highlighted the project's strategic location, just a few kilometres from Corralejo—one of the main tourist hubs of the Canary Islands—citing the growing demand from both domestic and international travelers for smaller‑capacity accommodations that offer greater privacy and personalized services.
Montebalito emphasized that this establishment fits within its broader strategy of promoting high‑quality real‑estate and tourism projects throughout the Canary Islands.
