Morro Jable’s municipal esplanade hosts the 12+1 anniversary of Fuerteventura motorcyclists

The Pájara City Council unveiled this weekend the 12+1 Anniversary of Moteros de Fuerteventura, a gathering that will take place from May 8 to May 10 at the municipal square of Morro Jable.

“Don’t miss this must‑see event on the sports calendar; you’ll enjoy a wide program that combines rides and live music,” said Sports Councilor José Benito Alonso.

“We are celebrating 13 years of the motorcyclists’ meeting. This major event has already become a reference point in our municipality for motor enthusiasts and adrenaline seekers,” emphasized Security Councilor Raimundo Dacosta.

“The celebration will once again position our island as a key stop on the Canary Islands’ motorcycling calendar, boosting social and tourist activity,” highlighted Lola García, President of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura.

“We thank the City Council and the Island Council for launching an event that blends sport and leisure. Attendees will enjoy a weekend packed with movement and activity,” remarked Rubén Carnicer, President of the Motorcyclists Association.

Program

  • Friday, May 8 – 19:00 h: Inaugural motorbike ride.

    • 21:00 h: Live music with performances by Siroko and Taknara Band.
  • Saturday, May 9 – 10:30 h: Scheduled ride.

    • 21:00 h: Concerts by Mejor con Copas and Maldita EGB, expected to draw hundreds to the square.
  • Sunday, May 10 – 11:00 h: Final ride.

In addition to the rides and concerts, the event will feature raffles, surprises, and a festive atmosphere designed for all motor‑bike enthusiasts.
