Pablo Rodríguez's goat wins the 3rd Feaga Morphology Contest

The Agricultural, Livestock and Fisheries Fair of Fuerteventura (Feaga) held the III Morphological Evaluation Contest for adult goats, organized by the Cabildo of Fuerteventura. The competition assesses the animals’ morphological traits and health status.

• First prize: a goat presented by breeder Pablo Rodríguez from Tesejerague.
• Second prize: a goat presented by Mario Benítez from Villaverde.
• Third prize: a goat presented by Benjamín Díaz from Tiscamanita.

The award ceremony was attended by Lola García, President of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura; Enrique Pérez, Councillor for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries; and Andrés Díaz, Director General of Livestock. The officials thanked the National Federation of Caprine Breeders (FECAMA) for its role in preserving the caprine breed, as well as the veterinarians and higher‑education students who assist in organizing Feaga’s contests.
