Rain sweeps Fuerteventura after Storm Therese passes
Fuerteventura has recorded precipitation since the early hours of Monday across various points of the island, confirming the arrival of a remnant of Storm Therese, which is finally unleashing its force over the Majorero territory.
According to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), the front entered from the south around 07:00 a.m., later spreading to other parts of the island, where rains of variable intensity and accumulations that could be significant in some areas are occurring throughout the morning.
The weather situation, which had an estimated 100 % probability, materialized, leaving water for several hours in a day marked by instability.
For the coming days, the forecast points to a progressive improvement in the weather, with decreasing wind intensity and better sea conditions. However, the risk of precipitation remains until Wednesday.
