Serious injury after traffic crash in Tetir

Accident occurred this morning in a dense fog

A 44‑year‑old man suffered a serious injury after a collision at one of Tetir’s roundabouts at 7 a.m. this morning. He was transported by a medicalized ambulance to the General Hospital of Fuerteventura with a severe lumbar trauma.

Authorities believe that a thick fog—locally known as “blandura”—significantly reduced drivers’ visibility in the area.
