David Herrera takes possession of the mayor's office of the southern municipality

In the morning of Tuesday, David Herrera Ginory assumed the mayoral baton of Tuineje, replacing Candelaria Umpiérrez, who announced her departure a week earlier.

The municipality of Tuineje thus enters a new stage of governance for this legislative term, but with the same coalition formed by councilors from the Canary Coalition and the Socialist Party.

The former councilor cited personal reasons for leaving the helm of the southern corporation, although it is evident that her administration operated in a work environment plagued by multiple problems within the same municipal government.
